E-mail addresses which were not in use for a long time or actually never have been used are called spamtraps, if they help to recognize spam.
We use spamtraps to track spam early. We feed the IP-adress of the sender into the Swinog-DNSRBL, URLs into the Swinog-URIBL. The checksums of pictures and objects are sent to our IMP-Pyzor System.
